“Mom, listen, I haven’t been together with Topanga for 22 years, but we have been together for 16. That’s a lot longer than most couples have been together. I mean, when we were born, you told me that we used to take walks in our strollers together around the block. When we were two, we were best friends. I mean, I knew everything about this girl. I knew her favorite color, her favorite food. Then we became six, Eric made fun of me because it wasn’t cool to have a best friend that was a girl or even know a girl. So for the next seven years I threw dirt at her. I like to call those “the lost years”. Then when I was thirteen, mom, she put me up against my locker and she kissed me. I mean, she gave me my first kiss. She taught me how to dance. She always was talking about these crazy things and I never understood a word she said. All I understood was that she was the girl I sat up every night thinking about, and when I’m with her, I feel happy to be alive. Like I can do anything. Even talk to you like this. So that’s, that’s what I think is love, mom. When I’m better because she’s here.” -

One of the best weekends I’ve had so far :))

Worked on friday till about 9pm. Met him to walk around esplanade. But there were no more shows on at that time even though it was arts fest.

-Realised Asian Civilisation museum was open till 12am free entry with the Patterns of trade and the Tang Shipwreck exhibition. There was a band playing till 11pm

-Went back on Sat to the museum and tried to cover where we left off from. I think this is the best museum in Singapore out of the others I went before. Mainly because the rest of the museums can never beat those modern art/ animal discovery/ science museums in London. And our best bet is the Asian Civilisation with artifacts from the olden times of West and east Asia. The indian, islamic, chinse, javanese cultures. Super fascinating.

-Was kinda disappointed that I booked him few months in advanced to watch the Tang Quartet - sadly the only show I wanted to watch from the Arts Fest (And well it’s free too) but he said he also booked me to watch his friend’s hall production that e already bought the tics to…

- Turned out this all production of his… was SUNGHA JUNG CONCERT OMFG.
I went there looking idiotic. Saw the poster at the basement and went “WAH EHH sungha jung leh!!! Having concert today here leh!! can we watch that and miss yr hall stuff not” lol and then he faked me throughout even during the queuing period. Up until he produced the tickets that I realised omgg it’s for real.
We werent even super fans or something and that crazy arse bought the tics even though he was on super tight budget. It was sungha Jung and Preston Reed (which he hated- he said all his guitar pieces sounded the same to him lol.. and called him the country version of LOKI because of his hair) I took photo of the both of them *grins*

- Then we went to Lau Pa Sat for Mutabak, Prata and Teh tarik supper and back to the museum again since it was the last day it was open for free.

- And on sunday wanted to go to the Suntec Gym to burn those supper fats away, turned out he forgot his pass so we went walking around Esplanade area again and had 1 waffles ripple, 1 chocolate bread 1 cone multi-flavoured ice-cream. And then too bad there was nothing going on again and so we lazed around, lay down at some area and dozed off.

- And I had dinner with my mum :)

But anyway great weekend. Oh and he passed me my ipod shuffle full of korean songs he got from Keesiong. AWESOME MAX. now I can listen to them while I work :D

Studies have shown, that, indeed, introverts are more likely than extroverts to express intimate facts about themselves online that their family and friends would be surprised to read, to say that they can express the “real me” online, and to spend more time in certain kinds of online discussions. They welcome the chance to communicate digitally. The same person who would never raise his hand in a lecture hall of two hundred people might blog to two thousand, or two million, without thinking twice. The same person who finds it difficult to introduce himself to strangers might establish a presence online and then extend those relationships into the real world.

Knowing each others’ darkest moments somehow connected us and redeemed us.
The way two negatives make a positive.
The way our eyes adjust to the dark.

background song: Stars- Your ex lover is dead

Happened to come across this song in one of the movies I watched.
And I thought it was too familiar… turned out that it was the song that Benny introduced me to.
